Library

Currently Checked Out:
The Avengers  by Rich Cohen- This is a story of the Jews that camped out in the Lithuanian forest and fought the German Nazis. Very compelling.
The Confession's of St. Augustine by St. Augustine. - It's a goal of mine to finally finish it this year.

Next in Line:
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer
The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stien
Trapeze by Simon Mawer
American Sniper by Chris Kyle

Returned and Reviewed:
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis - I have the copy with all 7 books in one. If you read it a kid, reread it now. You will understand so much more.
God's Prayer Book by Ben Patterson So rich and wonderful. I will read it as a devotional every year.
The Veil by Blake Healy READ if you want to be inspired to see what God is doing and what his angels are up to. It's not preachy- just Blake Healy sharing his experiences with a prayer that you would be able to experience God in a new way.
Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn Intriguing and thought-provoking. I'm not usually a big fan of "conspiracy theory" type books, but this one J. Cahn definitely did his research. I read a few interviews with him after finishing the book and he states that it is 90% fiction.
The Acts of King Arthur and His Nobel Knights by John Steinbeck Sadly I didn't get to finish this book. I tried to renew it but there was a "hold" on it so I'll just have to check it out again. I enjoyed what part I read though. It was one of JStienbeck's last books and this was only a draft (later edited by his son and editor).
Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer Intriguing book and it made me want to see the movie...not a typical scenario because usually a movie makes me want to read the book not the other way around.
Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger  This was an incredibly strange book.
I can't decide if I liked it or not...bummer because I L.O.V.E.D. her other book The Time Traveler's Wife.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusack This was excellent! Though I was surprised to find it in the Youth section...its a bit dark and complex.
